Our Story
My name is Orlando Perez. I'm 43 years old, a husband to my incredible wife Lela Perez, and a proud father to two beautiful daughters, Aria Rose Perez and Azalyn Jade Perez. Before this brand ever existed, my life was shaped by service, struggle, and ultimately transformation.
I spent eight years serving in the United States Army, including two combat tours in Iraq. Like many veterans and men who have faced intense seasons of life, I carried battles home that people couldn't see. For years, I tried to push through them the only way I knew how.
Nearly two years ago, I made the decision to begin my sobriety journey. What started as a personal commitment to accountability quickly turned into something much bigger. I realized there were countless people out there fighting their own battles—whether with addiction, loss, depression, broken relationships, or simply trying to become a better version of themselves.
That realization is what sparked Forged by God.
This brand was created to stand for something bigger than clothing. It's a movement built for people who are fighting their way forward. People who want to become better men, better women, better fathers, better mothers, and better humans.
Everything we do is rooted in trusting the journey and believing in something bigger than ourselves.
