The Man Behind Forged
My name is Orlando Jesus Perez. I've been in the fitness industry since 2005, when I came home from Iraq. I started as a personal trainer at Fitness Together, went on to own and manage my own facility, and today I run operations for six gyms here in Birmingham, Alabama.
I'm a combat veteran. I served in Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom. I'm married to my beautiful wife, Lela, and I'm a dad to two girls, Azalyn Jade and Aria Rose.
On April 9, 2024, I turned my life over to God and gave up alcohol completely, after 25 years of abuse.
Forged started as an accountability page for myself, a way to stay sober, stay disciplined, and encourage others. It has grown into a community where we connect, build discipline, fight addictions, restore relationships, and get closer to God together.
